【鉴赏】:
作为辛派词人，我们提起刘过，总喜欢将他与“金戈铁马”、“整顿乾坤”、“誓斩楼兰”联系在一起，豪放粗犷是其词的当行本色。但他有些词却写得蕴藉含蓄，委婉动人。这反而更使人觉得他是真豪杰，觉出他的真性情来。联想到鲁迅先生所言：“无情未必真豪杰”，愈觉此言不虚。
卢梅坡，南宋诗人，刘过在京城杭州交结的朋友，这首词是刘过为他送别时写的。它描写了送别的，尤其是送别后刘过对友人魂牵梦萦的思念之情，写得情真意切，饶有余味。
上片写离别之苦。前三句写聚，写饯别时对旧日交游的回忆。写聚，作者从两人的交往中选取了两件具有典型意义的活动加以叙写。陶潜在《饮酒》诗中说：“秋菊有佳色，裘露掇其英。泛此忘忧物，远我遗世情。”“泛菊杯深”化用陶诗，写在重阳佳节，他们共饮菊花酒，其乐陶陶的情景。深，言酌酒之满。一个“深”字，把他们畅怀酣饮的情形描写出来了。
汉乐府《横吹曲》有《梅花落》曲，是唐宋文人很喜欢听的笛曲。李清照《永遇乐》词人“染柳烟浓，吹梅笛怨”之句。“吹梅角远”化用李词，写在春天的时候他们携手踏青，欣赏那冰肌玉骨的梅花，聆听那余韵悠长的笛声。远，写笛声悠长。一个“远”字，展现了他们胜日寻芳的愉快心情。这两句词，不仅形象地再现了他们欢会的场面，还巧妙地暗示了他们欢会时间的短暂，不过是从秋到春，为下文“匆匆”二字埋下了伏线。如果说“泛菊”二句暗示了他们欢会的时间，那么，“同在京城”则明确地交代了他们聚会的地点。短短十二个字，就把他们聚会的节令、地点和情景交代清楚了，可谓构思缜密，惜墨如金。后三句写“散”，写饯行时惜别心情。“聚散匆匆”是关键句，是本词的题眼，它具有承上启下的作用。“聚”字结上，“散”字启下，“匆匆”二字，表示他们不论是对“聚”还是“散”，都感到时间短暂，一种友情难以畅叙的遗憾袭上心头。“云边”二句具体写“散”。在这里，作者使用了两个比喻，说明他们此别之后，如云边的孤雁，深以失侣为苦；又如水上浮萍，到处漂泊不定。这两句词情景交融，景中见情，情中生景，哀婉动人。比之柳永《雨霖铃》“念去去、千里烟波，暮霭沉沉楚天阔”，虽境界有所不及，但更令人伤心动情。
下片写别后之思。换头三句先用设问句式加以提顿，直抒胸臆，铿锵有力，说明卢梅坡走后，不能不使人“伤情”，然后用“魂飞梦惊”四字，说明他是如何“伤情”。“魂飞”，写他因友人离去而失魂丧魄，六神无主：“梦惊”，写他为不能再见到友人而辗转反侧，无法安睡。前边用“几度”二句加以总括，就把作者“良宵谁与共，赖有窗间梦。可奈梦回时，一番新别离”（秦观《菩萨蛮》），希望梦见友人但又怕醒来只是一梦的复杂感情描写出来了，真可谓情深意切。
写到这里，作者感到还没把他的搜趣网相思之情写足，于是又用“后DuPJhuaC夜相思”三句翻入一层，写他想象中追随友人旅程远去的情形。这三句词，化用苏味道“暗尘随马去，明月逐上来（《正月十五夜》）和贺铸”明月多情随柁尾“（《惜双双》）句意，说明此虽之后，他的心象飞尘一样时时紧跟在卢梅坡的马后，又象明月一样处处追随在卢梅坡的舟旁。这样的写法，真是层层深入，步步紧逼，生生把作者对友人的无限深情和刻骨相思”逼“将出来，深化了主题，扩大了词境，增强了艺术感染力。
